About Us
Founded in 2018, Aesthetic Athletes was built on a single principle: strength, speed, and aesthetics are not separate goals — they are one integrated system.
We train athletes and high-performers who demand more than generic programming and trend-driven training. Every plan deployed is precision-built around the individual.
Our methodology is rooted in principles of human performance and mastery through repetition. We develop complete athletes through four performance pillars: Mindset, Movement, Nutrition, and Recovery. These pillars form the foundation of every system we design.

STRENGTH
Strength is the foundation of all athletic output. It is our primary adaptation and the base layer of performance development. Every system we deploy begins with force production and structural resilience.
SPEED
Speed is force production expressed in minimal time. It is the bridge between raw strength and competitive output. We develop acceleration, max velocity, and reactive ability to create measurable separation. At elite levels, speed defines outcome.
AESTHETICS
Aesthetics are the measurable expression of performance. When force, speed, and structural balance are systematically developed, physique becomes the byproduct of precision. We do not chase appearance — we build systems that produce it.

MEET YOUR COACH
As a former U.S. Marine, collegiate athlete, and performance coach with 14 years of professional experience, I bring discipline, structure, and measurable results to every athlete I work with.
My foundation in human performance began as a multi-sport athlete in high school and continued through collegiate competition, later extending into masters-level competition. With over 20 years immersed in structured training environments — as both athlete and coach — my systems are shaped by firsthand competitive experience and applied development across diverse performance settings.
Since 2012, I have coached athletes across youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and tactical environments. My work spans both 1-on-1 and team settings, with over 8,000 individual sessions delivered across private facilities, sport performance programs, and military strength and conditioning roles.
I’ve supported athletes in football, wrestling, track & field, hockey, tennis, baseball, softball, soccer, and rugby — adapting systems to meet the demands of each sport and competitive level.
My training systems are built on structured progression, measurable outputs, and deliberate periodization.
I do not write isolated workouts — I design integrated performance systems.
Each framework aligns with the athlete’s current performance level, competitive demands, and long-term development trajectory.
From one-on-one development to team environments, the structure remains consistent: precise execution, progressive overload, and performance measured against objective standards.
The result is not random training — it is controlled progression toward specific performance outcomes.

Google Review — January 10, 2025 The most notable improvement was my mobility and athleticism. He introduced a lot of exercises that pushed me to get more from my body. And the programming takes all the thought out of training, it’s done for me.
If you are considering working with him for any athletic programming or personal training, it’s honestly a no-brainer. I think John has Higher level of education surrounding Athletic training than anyone else I know. Highly recommend.
Google Review — December 19, 2024 He built a fully individualized plan that combined nutrition, supplementation, strength training, cardio, recovery, and mobility — all tailored to my goals, budget, and existing equipment. He also coordinated adjustments based on lab work in collaboration with my Naturopath. His ongoing monitoring of my metrics through Whoop and body scans has been eye-opening, especially in understanding how sleep, diet, and alcohol directly impact performance and recovery.
As a result, I’ve lost over 15 pounds of body fat while increasing muscle mass, creating a noticeable change in my body composition. My energy is significantly higher, I’m stronger, more flexible, and have far better control over my nutrition and recovery. For the first time in over five years, I can fit back into clothes I had stored away.

When I traveled out of the country for 2 weeks without steady access to a gym, he made a body weight workout which I was able to do in my hotel room to make sure I kept up with my gains. His background and knowledge have really helped me not only learn how to physically work out but really understand the mechanics of working out. I highly recommend this trainer for all experience levels.

Yelp Review - March 23, 2018 I started training with John Fasulo about three years ago, he is always prepared for every training session. The workouts were always challenging and fun at the same time. He has an amazing balance of being able to push you to get the most out of your training without screaming at you or feeling like you accidentally joined the marines. My weekly sessions are something I look forward to every week, and am still sore after every session.
John truly cares about getting you healthy and has knowledge about diet and overall health that is a valuable pairing with the physical workouts he provides. so that's why I highly recommend John for all experience levels.

He helped fix what many doctor's, chiropractor's and physical therapists visits just weren't capable of. It was his studies, experience, care, passion, and knowledge to not only know what to do, but find a way that worked for me, my body, and not to mention my extremely busy schedule that made all the difference in the world.
We set goals and made them happen. Even when I traveled to Iceland and Ireland, he made a workout I could do at each of my specific hotels according to the amenities available.
Last, but not least, and this is coming from a professional in the health and nutrition industry, John truly cares about your goals, and not only knows exercise science (keeps up with the latest research as well), has any tool/equipment needed, but he has great knowledge about health and nutrition and shares it all with a great attitude, so you look forward to working with him and learning from him. Yelp Review - January 7, 2020 We made the decision after enjoying the class and the knowledge John was passing along to sign up with him as our choice for a Trainer. We started our weekly training sessions in September and have really enjoyed them. We each went over our goals of fitness and John has been able to tailor that to our needs individually, even though we share the training session. We have been impressed with his knowledge, his experience, the variety of exercises, and his personality! He's great to work with and we learn something new that we can take away and practice on our own or take to a group class we are taking. We can be working out and know we are not going to hurt ourselves by not aligning our bodies properly.
John can identify any weaknesses you may have and help you work on those specific areas. He has worked with amatures, aspiring athletes, professional athletes, and we all benefit from his expertise.
I would highly recommend John if your are considering or looking for a Trainer!

Yelp Review - April 27, 2020 Week 1 was spent learning new exercises, by week 4 l was able to confidently complete the workouts and hit new personal records on those lifts. Each phase built upon the last, "pouring the concrete” just as John said. Another thing I liked was that I could consult John if there was an exercise I was having trouble with form, purpose, goal, etc. He was always responsive and thorough in explaining the "whys" of the exercises.
I worked with John for about 6 months and not only was I able to return to heavy lifts on compound exercises like dead lifts, squats, bench press (with new personal records on each); my form has drastically improved and I can feel my overall strength has improved, notably core strength.
I highly recommend John as a trainer who is knowledgeable, responsive, thorough and goal oriented. I appreciate everything John has done for me and would definitely work with him again!
